In this post we will guide you through laptops that aren’t heavy on the pocket yet do what they’re made for really well.
Laptops bought exclusively for gaming aren’t entirely different from the whole lot of laptops except perhaps they may have a dedicated gaming GPU.
Most of them come with core i7 or core i8 processor and RAM large enough to support gaming viz 8GB at least.
In this post we have listed thin laptops under 500 and some above that price range.
Now the parameters have changed. People are looking for gadgets that can execute high end games like Chrysis. Call of Duty and others of that era are a given.
Before looking at the cheaper options let’s look at the two best picks I’ve had opportunity to test.
MSI GS65 Stealth
It’s quite a thin laptop that comes with the following set of features.
A processor that boasts the last generation: Intel Core i7. The graphics are from Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 (8GB GDDR5X VRAM, Max-Q). The beast packs a RAM of 16GB under the hood with 15.6 ultra hd screen that readily comes with anti glare coating.
The star feature that I want is SSD and MSI GS65 has 512MB of ssd storage that makes gaming an experience come real.
There’s no lag. There’s a stealth power mode that provides you with relatively low footprint.
Asus ROG Zephyrus GX501
It’s thickness is lower than an inch and packs in a central processing unit that’s seventh gen, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 (8GB GDDR5X VRAM). You get 16gb of RAM and anti glare 15 inch screen with 512 gb ssd drive that provides buttery performance throughout.
The under $500 option
HP 14q-BU100TU which sports a 14-inch Laptop (8th Generation, Windows home and 4gb ram is a pretty good gadget for the price point provided.
It has multiple expansion slots and packs in an intel i5 processor that can play most games.
With a 4 cell lithium battery you won’t need to plug it in every now and then.
Given that you read the expensive and cheaper options what’s your poison?
